If you are looking for Accommodation in Luino and want to be central, and AT HOME, than you have to stay at the Hotel ANCORA ( the Anchor in english) it is in the centre of all activeties right on the Lake, next to the Lago Maggiore Ferry station.
You could not wish for better.
The Owner, Antonio, takes you in as if you are family and fusses over you in his own sincere way.
He waited up for us until 3 am whilst we where partying at Tripolinis.
After our eight or ninth visit and consequent late nights we now have a key to the front door
The Rooms are clean and spacious and we look forward to our next stay as it truly is like “coming home “

we have been going to Luino now for close on three years, 8 or 9 times in total, as we only live 3 1/2 hours away in Zürich, Switzerland.At first we went for the scenery and magic of Lago Maggiore, and there is plenty of it.
Now , we think of Luino as our “second home” to relax and also to party….work hard …play hard….!
And , let me tell you, there is no better place to do it in than the TRIPPOLINI.
Do you get made welcome there? Its overwhelming !!
And once the “Locals” see that you are having a good time , they sure know how to make it better !!!
The Drawcard for us is the Kareooke at Trippolinis, those italian Voices don’t need much coaxing…and they are a natural singing nation. Everyone would win “Superstar” if entered.

we never manage to leave before closing time at 2 am and the owner of our Hotel ” ANCORA” ( another great place) waits up patiently to let us in.
On our last visit this Easter we were promised the ” Keys of the House” so that we can come and go as we like…..
well we are booked already for May and July (with the In-laws) and looking forward to it !!!
